How a Tool Gets Ranked

Discovery

Our Agent Ingestor scans Product Hunt, X, Reddit, and curated sources monthly to identify new AI tools worth evaluating.

Factual data collection

The Agent Scorer uses web search to gather objective, verifiable data points for the BFS calculation.

Analytical scoring

A separate analytical pass — without web search — calculates the SFR score based on qualitative evaluation criteria.

Score validation

Scores are cross-checked against category benchmarks. Outliers are flagged for manual review.

Continuous updates

Rankings are updated automatically when market signals change. Tools move up or down based on performance — not relationships.
